Ingredients

  • - 1 cup, Safe Harvest Chana, pressure cooked
  • - 2 cups, Safe Harvest Sona Masuri Raw rice, cooked
  • - 3 green onions
  • - 50 gm safe Harvest Horse gram
  • - 2 stalks of Celery, chopped
  • - Herbs: 1/2 cup each of Basil, Thyme, Corriander, Cilantro (chopped)
  • - For herb seasoning: salt 1/2tsp + 1/2tsp SH black pepper powder + 1/2tsp SH chili powder + 1/4 garlic powder
  • - 1/2 cup black olives, chopped
  • - 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • - 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Process

  • - For the herb seasoning, add herbs, salt, black pepper, chilli powder, garlic powder and mix them properly.
  • - Add cold rice, Chana, celery, onions, olives, 1tsp of seasoning mixture and whisk them all well.
  • - Add red wine vinegar to the remaining herb mixture and whisk the mixture preperly.
  • - Pour the dreesing over the rice-chana mixture  and toss gently to evenly distribute the dressing.
  • - Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
